Some great prizes

What a crazy weekend although it was alot of fun. Friday evening we took the kids to my parents house and they stayed Friday and Saturday night with them. Then my parents brought them back Sunday afternoon. On Saturday, Chris and I went out with some friends. It was alot of fun to just hang out and have nothing pressing on your schedule. Sunday afternoon, I didn't feel very well, so Chris did the supper for us and my parents. He did fried fish, corn cob, mixed vegetables and he heated up some homemade bread that his grandma made. I did make a double-layer chocolate cake for dessert. It was a very very yummy supper! :0)
The Southerlands were here for our evening service. We had a wonderful time with them.

Here are a few pictures I wanted to share. Chris went to town last week and happened to stop by the goodwill and found this little tikes desk for Madelyn. The nice thing was the price - $3. All it needed was to be cleaned and the white part on the top needed painted. So Chris took it off, and painted it white and it looked as good as new. Madelyn absolutely loves it.

Our church does secret sisters with the all of the ladies. My secret sister got me a few things for my anniversary/birthday and thought that I would share them with you.
