Happy Thanksgiving

Hello to everyone and a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are at Mom & Dad's house. My grandpa came in from Bluefield, Va. We just had dinner and we are all very sleepy. Chris, the kids and I are going to his grandparents this evening for Dinner with all of the family there. And then tomorrow, I am going shopping with Chris' cousins. I think we are leaving at about 2:30 or 3:00a.m. YEA!!!!!!! This is my favorite shopping day. Then on Sat. I am going with some friends to Charelston to do some more shopping and see a christmas play. I promise I will have pictures from this weekend and another update. We have had a few changes in our life and I will update about that also. Have a great weekend.

My life ~ BUSY

Okay, my name is Constance Dewhurst. I am a pastor's wife, a mother of two, a full-time homemaker. Sorry, I needed to do that for myself just to make sure I know who I am. Last weekend we went to Bluefield, VA to see my mom's side of the family. Her sister came in from Texas, she only comes in once every 4yrs. We had alot of fun visiting with everyone and the kids enjoyed all of their cousins. BUT - we were leaving Bluefield on Sat. and we had just barely gotten out of city limits when our car broke down. Yay!!!! We were able to get it back to my grandma's house and she let us take her car home. I had an interview for a job Sat. night at 6p.m. My parents took our car to a shop in Bluefield on Sun. before they came home. Needless, to say our car is fixed for $318. We have to make another trip in next weekend to pick it up. I now have a job taking care of a 92yr. old lady about 50min. from my house. I work 3 - 12hr. shifts a week. It works great with our schedule and the kids only have to be with a sitter (which is a girl from our church) for about 9hrs. a week. This week was my first week and so I have trying to readjust our schedule here at the house and I have not had anytime for blogging. And on my day off on Tues. (when I was going to do blogging) our telephone line fell, which was okay because our phone still worked, but our dog chewed right through it, SO our phone was not working on Tues. which meant I don't have internet. We have it all through cable. So here I am trying to blog real quick before I do some house work and go to work at 8:30 tonight. I never work the weekends so I will post some pictures up this weekend, right now I do not have the time. We start revival tomorrow night and end Sun. night. I pray that the Lord will help and we can see some victories during this time. I hope ya'll have a great weekend and I will catch up in a couple of a days.

Family and Halloween pictures

Life has been very busy and I haven't been able to blog. Finally, I have a chance to do some. The other day I thought that I would try something new. I would take our own family pictures. I don't have the software that makes the fog around the edges (I plan on getting that after Christmas) so they don't look quite professional, but I thought they turned out pretty well. Here are the better ones that were taken. I didn't get to take alot, #1 Chris hates to take pictures, #2 we were on a bridge that had big cracks in it and Joshua was scared.

Also for my great grocery shopping trip this week. I had to buy some deoderant, fabric softener, diapers and I got a few extra things that was not on my list like toilet paper, bananas, shredded cheese. The toilet paper(white cloud) it was a 4pk. big rolls = 8 rolls was $1 after my coupon, bananas were $.59/lb. so I got 4lbs. and the shredded cheese was $1.66 @ Krogers so I got 2 pks. to put in my freezer. My diapers were$7.68, I had a $2 coupon so I paid $5.68.

My total for groceries and neccessities for this week was $62.00. I was very happy.
