IHC Happenings and Home Happenings!
We had a great time at IHC this year. I believe it was the best in a long time. Of course, My kids did not have a clue of what it was. Last year, Madelyn wasn't quite two and Joshua was just 3mo. old. Madelyn kept saying, "This is IHC!" She very much enjoyed the children's services and she was going to go up on stage, but decided she wasn't while walking to the platform. We got to spend time with Chris' mom and sibblings. It had been awhile since we had seen them, so that was very nice to be able to see them again. Then we got to see all of our friends and my "Blogger" friends. :) Now all day Tuesday I did laundry and cleaning up from having company all weekend. It has been wonderful days and the kids have enjoyed it. Here are a few pics from IHC and of family.
Madelyn with her friend, Brooklyn Sproles. They had alot of fun together.
Another picture of them together. I think this one is my favorite.
Of course Joshua who eats all the time could not even stop for the service.
Madelyn just chillin'. I think she actually did not care for me taking her picture here.
Madelyn and her Aunt Heidi. We went to Wal-mart on Friday and as we were going in, there was a couple coming out with a turtle sandbox. Madelyn said, "Grandma Becky, I want a sandbox." So guess what, we came out with a turtle sandbox, five bags of sand, and sand toys (can't forget the coloring book either.) She enjoyed her Grandma Becky and misses her very much.
This is our dog, Sadie Rose. She is five months old. A full-blooded golden retriever that has enough energy for 10 dogs. She knocks the kids down and makes a horrible mess of the yard. We finally had to go and get farm fencing and put it up down the center of our already fenced in yard so Sadie could have the back part and the kids, us and our guest could have the front part. It is sad for the dog right now, but until she can get her puppy stage out of her, sad to say she will be like this. Don't worry, She has PLENTY of room to run. We have a HUGE yard. We split it down the middle.

A lot of fun outside and in the dirt
I hope that all of you enjoyed a beautiful day today. My children enjoyed very much. They were outside all day long except for the one hour that they took a nap. We live in a single trailer that had alot of work done to it and still need help, the outside is horrible and we are in the midst of trying to plant grass seed, clean up the junk that the landlord has just left. It is really ugly outside, but I am blest with a HUGE fenced in yard. So I open up my windows and the kids play outside while I still get house work done. It is WONDERFUL!!
It was so cute, I went outside because Madelyn seemed to be having an attitude today. I asked her why she was having an attitude. This was her reply, "These ladybugs are driving me nuts and that's why I am having an attitude!" Ok. She also told me that her pappy was getting her a swing set and he was the boss. My dad said he didn't know where she got that from because he did not put it in her head that he was the boss. She is so cute. She states how she feels and that is for certain. I had to post the pictures below. I do not know if I have seen dirty kids like this for awhile.
Both of them enjoying the car.
Ignore the mess you see on the porch. Thanks to my children.
Joshua really did not care for his sister to be holding him like this. I love the look in spite of it.
Isn't it wonderful?
This is my favorite. The sidewalk (it is just blocks) is getting ready to removed and concrete poured.
Madelyn's hands and feet had alot more dirt than the rest of her body.
They were so dirty that I had to put them in the tub, rinse them, get them out, rinse the tub, then feel the tub with water for a bath. They were literally turning the water brown. Yuck! I wanted to snap these pictures to show you what they can become from dirt to clean. They had alot of fun and very much enjoyed the day.

We are back!!!!:)
I am so excited. We now have high speed internet. So I can get back to putting my pictures on the blog. I have seriously missed it and conversing back and forth with everyone. I have really enjoyed everyone's pictures. An update on all of us. Chris is busy with going to school, teaching and pastoring. I am busy just trying to keep house. What one does not think of, the other one does. Sometimes I feel like I am just walking in sand all day long. The kids are so excited about the nice weather. They have been out several times this week. I just had to go and buy them new shoes. Madelyn is size 9 and Joshua size 6. They love to play with each other. Madelyn says that "Joshua is her best friend." It is absolutely adorable. Here they are below in my dryer while I am loading the washer.
He is going to be a heartbreaker some day.
Madelyn already has the boys fighting over who is going to sit beside her in Sunday School Class.
This was from St. Patrick's Day. Her shirt says "kiss me, I'm American."
I don't know if you can read it or not, but under Daddy's Big Helper, it says (will work for cookies) I also just bought him this shirt that says, "My parents are exhausted" and that is the truth.
Easter morning! They would not work very well with me to get the pictures taken.
Of course, Madelyn would not look at the camera!
Here we all are. I look like a big fat balloon! And Madelyn was in a mood.

Joshua now goes to Sunday School Class with his sister. He absolutely loves it. I can't wait to hear from all of you. And hopefully I will see many of you at IHC. Have a great week.
