Madelyn's 2yr. old pictures
These pictures were already developed, so I just took pictures of them while they were on my piano. They are Madelyn's two yr. old pictures. Time flies so fast. It seems like she was just a newborn yesterday.

fun and loving pictures
I was giving the kids a bath the other night and I had gotten Joshua out and after I got him dressed for bed I came back in and Madelyn had dumped two bottles of Joshua's soap into the water. She has this Dora doll that is made to go in the water and she said that Dora needed to be cleaned.
I have been trying to get the kids clothes together that they have outgrown and put them away for storage. This is what I have so far, 3 boxes and a tote and trust me there is still alot more to do. Madelyn wanted in the picture.
Joshua and Chris loving on each other. This boy loves his daddy very much. Many times he will grunt and scream until Chris comes and picks him up. I call them my two handsome men.
Chris was trying to have a phone conversation with his Dad and Madelyn refused to get off the phone. She talked non-stop. Here she is telling her Grandpa how she fell head first into a fish pond and her daddy pulled he out of the water by her feet. (she said that she talked to the fish while she was in the water.) She is absolutely the greatest.
VBS
Last week the Baptist Church here in town had VBS, so I took Madelyn to it. She absolutely loved it. This was her very 1st VBS, she would come home so excited and tell her Dad about everything. She would even sing the OBEY song. This picture she is standing outside the church with her name tag on.
The VBS was 2 1/2 hrs. long. All of the time was split up into different time segements. They did crafts, Bible story time, snack, recreation, and singing. Here below was recreation time. They were blowing bubbles. (everyone was divided up into groups - pre-K - Kindergarten, etc.)
The name of the VBS was Surfing with Jesus. It was set up like a beach scene. The kids are singing their songs. The songs were put up on a screen. At this time of each night, Madelyn said she wanted to watch a momie(movie).
This was Bible story land. The woman at the well was being told.
The kids were looking into the well to see if there was any water. Madelyn is standing there in the pink shirt.
Snack time yea! This night they had 7-up floats with snapping rocks on the ice cream.
Madelyn is making a water bottle holder. She loved the craft time. Many times she needed help, but she made sure she told me where she wanted things.

Family (engagement party)
David Smith (Chris' cousin) is holding Joshua. If he didn't have or was talking to Joshua, he was trying to get Madelyn to come to him.
Here we all are just hanging out. Chris' uncle Henry Smith (Derika, Dale and David's father) is the president of Indiana Wesleyan College. This is the presidents house in which they live in. This house has eight bathrooms and I don't even know how many bedrooms. You just about need a map to find your way through it.
Here is David bribing Madelyn with candy just so she will come to him. She had lots of candy that evening needless to say.
Later that evening we had a camp fire and had s'mores. It was a blast. We did not leave until almost two in the morning.
Chillin' by the fire.
Engagement party
Chris' cousin Derika Smith is getting married next May, so they had an engagement party this past Friday night for her and her finacee, Isaac. This is me and Derika

Chris, cousin Corey, Grandpa Smith and cousin Dale Smith. Something must have been really funny.
Joshua finally decided to go down for a nap while we were there and he has been taking up with his thumb in the past few weeks. He was sleeping on the floor and sucking his thumb.
Isaac and Derika. They make a great couple.

Camp
I love this out fit on Madelyn. The kids and I loaded up and went to Heartland Bible Methodist Youth Camp for a few days so we could see my parents. We had lots of fun and it was good to see my parents and brother again.
This would be on Friday during all star and stiffs softball game. My brother and Andrew Stroud were the anoucers(that word does not look right). They did a great job and had lots of fun doing it, also.

Here is the little man. He looks so cute. He was 6mo. old on the 21st of July. He weighs almost 18pds. He eats cereal two times a day plus some veg. or fruit at lunch and supper plus still nurses every two -three hours. You could never tell he was a month premature. He is such a happy baby, I could never ask for a better baby.

A few shots of my cuties!
Joshua was laying here in his bouncy seat, propped up with one of his sisters baby blankets, while watching a baby einstein dvd.
Right after this picture was taken, Joshua did a flip into the floor. They are both so cute and I love them dearly.

Madelyn had just had her bath for the day and so many times I will put a movie on for them so it will keep them occupied so I can take my shower. They were cuddled together under a blanket and it looked so cute I just could not resist taking the picture.

My anniversary
Well, we just got back from church camp for two week. Youth camp first and family camp followed. Today is my 4th year anniversary and I have been in bed all day long sick as a dog. Bless Chris' heart, he has done all the laundry for me and the dishes. When I feel better, I will put some pictures up.
